QUESTIONS TO ASK WHEN JOINING A DATING SERVICE

- Find out the ratio of men to women. This is very
important, some organizations have an over abundance of same gender profiles and
if this is your gender then your choices will be slim and there will be more
competition for the same profiles.
- Inquire as to what information will be
given out to other members (or non members for that matter). If the information
made public about you is known in advance then you can avoid any embarrassing or
surprising moments when you see or hear it latter.
- Is the religious and
ethnic background of the proposed service compatible with your preferences and
likes. If not, then time and money spent here is wasted. Your chances of meeting
someone through a service are enhanced when you stay within your preferred
groups.
- Always inquire into trial memberships. If you can access the
potential service on a trial basis then you can make all of your evaluations
before actually spending any money. If the service does not offer trial
memberships beforehand find out why and beware.
- Do a little research as to
the reputation of the club your are interested in. Check news groups or inquire
to other members of clubs when you have a trial membership.
- Find out how many
actual members belong to the dating service. A new service with few members is
not as cost effective or successful as an established service. However, an older
service can have a lot of outdated ads and outdated ads are of little or no use.
Your time spent in a trial membership should help you find this information. Not
all dating services are the same. Spend some time evaluating and researching a
little before becoming a member. If you stay with the services that offer trial
or discounted trial memberships then the risk is reduced and you can make a wise
decision.
